Alternative Learning Principal

Ms. Terilyn Thomas-Monday

Ms. Terilyn Thomas-Monday serves as the Principal of Alternative Learning. She has always had a passion for working with at-risk and special education students.

Ms. Thomas-Monday joined the faculty of Little Elm High School in 2007 as a math teacher and served in a variety of leadership roles within the department, including as its chair. She transitioned to campus leadership as an administrative intern in 2012 and served as House Principal for 7 years.

Prior to public education, Mrs. Thomas-Monday worked in the fields of Social Work, Non-Profit Business Management and has teaching and administrative experience at the college level. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Texas in Austin and a Master of Arts degree in Adult and Developmental Education from Texas State University in San Marcos.
